Man With A Million Faces

West had a photo shoot with Kalyn on June 11th. He was 2 weeks old. Muir, Kalyn and I had so much fun posing West. He was wide awake the whole time and seemed to be ok with being naked.

1st Portraits

These photos were taken at the hospital. Of course we were talked into having his photo taken and purchased the biggest package! We did everything we could to get him to open his eyes. This was the start of his tendency to play possum when strangers are around. Seriously though, he surveys the scene and checks out when we are in public or if family/friends are around. He'll open one eye to see if anyone is looking at him, then shut it immediately. Too funny!!

What a week!! Muir and I are getting used to being new parents. Sleep is the only thing missing in our schedules. West is such a wonderful little man.

Power Nesting

I think we can finally say we have the baby's room finished! Now I have started whipping out some crafts that I have seen on the web. It started with the onesies and from there I am making anything imaginable to match. When I can't sleep at night Muir can find me in my office sewing away...Thank you, peoples of the internet, for supplying instructions for these fun sewing projects.

Ultrasounds

Doctor appointments have been a highlight during our pregnancy. Our first one was at 7 weeks, making sure it was implanted in the right spot. Then on New Years Eve with Grandma and Grandpa Tinnerstet, we found out it is a boy! At 29 weeks we went to a 4D ultrasound so we could get an idea of what he will look like. We can't wait to meet our baby. At 34 weeks we had another chance to see our boy. It was at the hospital when I went in for preterm labor. He was so squished in there. So now at 38 weeks we can only imagine how cramped he is in there. We can't wait to meet him. Any day now!!
