Just Rolling Along
Where do we start. West is 7 weeks old this week. Last week, at 6 weeks he had his second Doctor's appointment. He weighed in at 11 lb 10 oz (that's a 3 pound increase in 4 weeks) and grew 1 1/2 inches to 22 1/2!! Our doctor said that nursing babies will gain one to two ounces a day for the next month. We can only imagine how our chubbo will change in the coming month. He is officially wearing 3-6 month clothes, so we had to retire his newborn sizes (insert tear here). We enjoy visiting both sets of grandparents and going on walks. Oh yea... he smiles and chuckles!! Everyday is so much fun, we love our little boy.

Man With A Million Faces
1st Portraits

These photos were taken at the hospital. Of course we were talked into having his photo taken and purchased the biggest package! We did everything we could to get him to open his eyes. This was the start of his tendency to play possum when strangers are around. Seriously though, he surveys the scene and checks out when we are in public or if family/friends are around. He'll open one eye to see if anyone is looking at him, then shut it immediately. Too funny!!
He's Here!!

Power Nesting
I think we can finally say we have the baby's room finished! Now I have started whipping out some crafts that I have seen on the web. It started with the onesies and from there I am making anything imaginable to match. When I can't sleep at night Muir can find me in my office sewing away...

Ultrasounds
Doctor appointments have been a highlight during our pregnancy. Our first one was at 7 weeks, making sure it was implanted in the right spot. Then on New Years Eve with Grandma and Grandpa Tinnerstet, we found out it is a boy! At 29 weeks we went to a 4D ultrasound so we could get an idea of what he will look like. We can't wait to meet our baby. At 34 weeks we had another chance to see our boy. It was at the hospital when I went in for preterm labor. He was so squished in there. So now at 38 weeks we can only imagine how cramped he is in there. We can't wait to meet him. Any day now!!
