Santa came to Gen's house. West had a great time looking at all the lights and decorations. He even pulled on Santa's beard...yep, it was real!

Muir and I took West down to the beach to try and get Christmas photos for cards. He loved the sand and the cold wind. He wanted to crawl the whole time, so it was hard to get any good face shots. These are some of them. There were many cute ones to choose from!!

Determined to crawl! West is trying so hard to move now all the time. He started by rocking back and forth, but now he has the right idea, and wants to get going.

5 Months, 2 Weeks Old

5 Months Old Today!

Today West is 5 months old. Yikes! He is loving cereal and new 1st foods. He can roll across the room and likes to sit (with assistance). We are looking forward to his 1st Halloween this Saturday.

4 Months, 3 Weeks Old

West had his 4 month check up this past Monday. He now weighs 17 lbs, 5 oz and is 26 in. Our doctor was very impressed with how social he was and that he rolls over so quickly. Yea buddy, keep up the good work!

4 Months, 2 Weeks Old

Where do we begin. West is rolling over and rocking every time we put him on the floor. He has also found his feet and loves to grab them and look at us. He really thinks he is doing the greatest trick ever. On Sept 26th we gave him brown organic rice cereal for the first time. West took to it right away. That boy loves to eat! Since then we think his face has started to fatten up. What a chunk. He had his four month photos taken with Kalyn at her home studio. She got some great shots. He totally hammed it up for the camera. We can't believe how fast he is growing. He is perfect in every way. Daily we are overwhelmed with pride and joy for our little boy.

16 Weeks Old

It was our 5 year anniversary. We celebrated by going down to Balboa Park and eating at The Prado. Time sure flys. It seems like yesterday that we got married there.

West is in Kendyl's swing. We went to Brad and Erin's to watch a Husker game.

Happy Birthday Reef!! 4 years old now. He was so happy and enjoyed opening all of his gifts. Both of the boys got a chance to hold the baby for a photo. Reef and Tide were so proud. It was the first time that we have let them hold him, actually even touch him.

1st Time Rolling Over

16 Weeks Old

West is growing so fast. Yesterday I took him to the doctors because I thought he might have an ear infection. He doesn't thank goodness but... we found out he weighs 16 lbs. What a beefcake or marshmallow (my mom calls him that)! He has found his voice. Muir and I thought he must be in pain because he grunts, bellows and sighs so loud and for long periods of time. He just wants to be part of the party and he thinks he can keep up with us noisy adults. No cute cooing here, he means business. Also he has his hands or whatever he can get his hands on, in his mouth constantly. Daily he is changing. Now he loves to be sat up and if he is at an incline he's doing crunches to try and sit up. Reef and Tide are his favorite things to watch. He can watch them play for hours.

13 Weeks Old. We went to our childbirth class reunion party. Only three couples and their babies showed up. It was a super hot day, maybe the heat kept everyone away. West had to be separated from the others because he was hitting them.

13 Weeks Old. It was his 3 month birthday, so we decided to go take pictures at the beach. This was the best of many. He was more interested in eating the towel and his hands than smiling for Grandpa, Muir and me.

12 Weeks Old. West smiles and laughs at Elmo all the time. It cracks us up, we can show him an Elmo picture anytime and he'll just smile at him.
