Hello Again

Sorry for not posting in so long. West has many new adventures to share with all of you! He has turned one and walked around 10 months old. The last few months have been a joy. Muir, West and I have been having the times of our lives. Muir and I have a great time being parents and I am sure West enjoys being a toddler. Yes a toddler! Kind of sad to say he is no longer a baby, or is he? He walks, no runs and babbles all day. I still call him my baby and we refer to him as "the baby". So enjoy my baby's summertime photos...

First Tooth!

West got his first tooth on March 4th. It was cute to see the corner finally pop through. He didn't complain much before it's arrival. Thank goodness for Hylands teething tablets! We tried to get a picture of it but he wasn't having it. It is the right center bottom one (if that makes any sense to anyone).

Presidents Day Outing

Muir had the Monday off for Presidents Day, so we decided to drive up the coast to San Juan Capistrano. Here we are at Sarducci's, this restaurant was so neat. You eat in the old train depot and trains go by right outside the windows. West loved the loud horns and children everywhere. It was a fun way to start our day out. (there was a train going by in this picture, that's why West is looking outside) http://www.capistranodepot.com/

Then we were off to Zoomars. It is right across the tracks from the downtown area of San Juan Capistrano. West loved his first petting zoo experience. The baby goats were his favorites. http://www.zoomars.com/

Valentines Day

A little hug before we headed out on a Valentines Date. This was our first time leaving him with Grandma & Grandpa Tinnerstet. We can't believe we waited 8 months. What losers.

Reef and Tide stopped by and dropped off their Valentines for West.

Slow down speedy!

Our little man is taking off. Being the ham that he is West makes sure he is never out shined by a holiday or special day for someone else. Examples... Reef's birthday he rolled over for the first time, Thanksgiving showed off by crawling around and Christmas stood up on his new barn. Grandma Fox's birthday was January 18th and of course he has wowed us again by free standing!! My heart just sank and tears filled my eyes, I can't believe he is growing up so quickly. West fills his day training by pushing around anything that he can walk behind and hanging onto the stair posts in the hall. I am a nervous wreck following this bundle of energy. At seven months old I do not see what his rush is. My own selfishness wants him to remain a "baby" forever. But he will grow up. I can only hope that his curiosity and love for learning continues for the rest of his life. Mamma loves you beefcake, xoxo.

Hello 2010

Christmas Roundup!

Here are some of my favorite decorations that I set up around the house this year. Last year we were installing wood floors and I was so sick, prego with West, that we didn't put anything out. I wanted to do even more but I spend my days following West around. He is totally crawling and pulling himself up on everything. He can even go up the stairs! Yikes! I made our stockings that we hung on the fireplace.
Cousins! Reef and Tide came over to make cookies for Santa!
Xmas Eve at Grandma & Grandpa TinnerstetChristmas morning we had everyone over for brunch. West had a blast playing with the paper and watching Reef and Tide.

Getting In The Spirit

12.1.09
Santa came to Gen's house. West had a great time looking at all the lights and decorations. He even pulled on Santa's beard...yep, it was real!
12.6.09
Muir and I took West down to the beach to try and get Christmas photos for cards. He loved the sand and the cold wind. He wanted to crawl the whole time, so it was hard to get any good face shots. These are some of them. There were many cute ones to choose from!!

New Developments

11.19.09
Determined to crawl! West is trying so hard to move now all the time. He started by rocking back and forth, but now he has the right idea, and wants to get going.

11.23.09
West spends his floor time perfecting his crawl.
Uh-O we have some baby proofing to do, he is all over downstairs now.
